Some May-time Cincinnati Activities

We are very excited for May to finally be here. The grass is green, the flowers are in bloom, and the temperature is in the high 60's and 70's every day. We both love our Caribbean apparel and are definitely ready for daily flip-flops and shorts season. At the top are pics of us with our friends Ben & Roshelle out for some Indian cuisine. Our little lady is acquiring quite a wardrobe for such a young age (negative 3 months), as seen in the top right corner. The bottom right picture is Tara with her first Mother's Day card and a picture of the pink Magnolia tree that accompanied it. The picture, not the actual tree, accompanied the card. The tree is still awaiting our pickup. The bottom center picture was of Tara's 1st day of maternity wear. For all you teachers out there, and I know you're out there, summer is almost here!! Start scheduling your trips to Cincinnati. See you soon! -T&C

Breaking Into Month Six - 24 Weeks

Well, week 24 brought with it the wearing of the maternity clothes we bought around week 8. The poor seams and zippers of yesterday may finally rest and soothe their pains, knowing that a better fitting day will come. The past two weeks of pregnancy have included some less than comfortable, I've been told, ligament stretching. Please trust that the smile to the left was not always present during those times. The little girl isn't moving around quite as much as she was a couple of weeks ago. We're thinking she's stuck in a tight spot and is now stretching out those ligaments to create a more open floor plan.

Ethan's Baptism & Mother's Day in Indy

We went to Indy this last weekend for our 7 month old nephew Ethan's baptism. It's great to be only 2.5 hours from our family in Indy. Tara somehow hid from the camera this weekend, but that's okay. She's in every other picture in this blog. In order of appearance, my mom and Grandma are with me in the top left. Sister and her (4) boys on Ethan's big day in the top right corner. Sister, Aunt Nancy, Grandmother, and dad with me in the bottom right. We had a great time!
