Above is Charlie's B-Day/X-Mas laptop and an excellent chocotini made by Tara. FYI, the chocotini was not concocted and imbibed during the morning unwrapping of the laptop. Below are some pics of Belle's daycare team, her room, and view of Mt. Adams.
We attended Tara's P&G Christmas Party on December 10th. Tara sucked in her gut that night and looked amazing, especially for 37 weeks pregnant. It was great to have a reason to get dressed up and hit the town. Luckily for the town, Tara being pregnant allowed the town to survive yet another night. Beware town for Tara's first night hitting you while not pregnant.
We took a quick trip to a farm just outside of Cincy. This place was really fun. There were lots of animals, although Belle preferred the cows, as seen above. She also really liked being on the John Deere. This farm also created a six acre maze through an actual corn field. This was both Isabella's and my first time in a corn field. I believe mom already accomplished this great feat earlier in her career. We all had a lot of fun and were actually lost inside the maze for a while.
My parents came for a visit the weekend before Halloween. We had dinner in a 140 year old schoolhouse, but I forgot to take any pictures of the actual schoolhouse. The picture in the top left is from the benches in front on the school, where we were waiting to be seated. We went out to IHOP for breakfast the next morning, which is jut how Tara and I cook breakfast best.

We went to Procter & Gamble's King Island weekend in September. Belle was able to participate a little more this year than last year (see 2009 at top) when she was just one month old. She was still only able to ride the carousel, but she loved it! Check out the video of her first ride below. She's a natural horse rider like her mom.
Here's mom getting Isabella out of bed on her first birthday. I love how Belle is always so happy in the morning. Below are some more birthday pics from home and daycare.
We had a combination 1st and 8th Birthday party for Isabella and Logan at Christy's house in Indy. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun with our family. Thanks to all of you for coming and to Logan for allowing us to bring lots of pink to his party!
I just happened to have my camera with me at my office a month or so ago, so I took a few pics of my office and area. I work in one of the prettiest buildings in Cincy, seen in the middle. It is just over 100 year old, but my company has preserved as many historical aspects of it as they could. Also below is the adjacent park and new tallest building in Cincy immediately west of us. A huge Abe Lincoln statue can also been seen at the end of the park in the bottom left.
Charlie's parents came to visit last month and we surprised them with a Civil War train ride up in Lebanon, OH. We were running late and actually were able to get the train to stop to pick us up. Amazing how that worked! It was a beautiful day for a ride with great company.
June 12th was my Dad's retirement party at my sister's house. We had a Jimmy Buffett / Fishing theme going. It was a lot of fun! Top right are Belle and Grandma's hands together. Ethan running around in my shoes (hilarious!) at the bottom and me on someone's motorcycle in the garage (not sure who's that was?).
Isabella loves her Vitamin Water Zero bottle!
We were in desperate need of a vacation and a week in St. Maarten was the perfect remedy. We have wonderful family members who were willing to spend the week with Isabella. Even though we really missed Belle, it was great to have some time for just Tara & Charlie again. Our weather was great and we had a wonderful time roaming the island and visiting our favorite and a few new beaches.
Their direct road trip from Flagstaff, AZ to Raleigh, NC which saw Portland, Seattle, New Orleans, and Minneapolis finally makes sense as it actually hits a point between the two cities. It was great to meet and spend time with Cyle and seeing Jon was fine too, I guess.
Here are a few more pics of my funny, happy girl, with a couple parental pics sprinkled in. Please try to ignore Isabella talking with her mouth full (with puff still on tongue) in first pic. Also, the fact that my wife dresses her up as a ladybug with hat including antennae should briskly be forgotten.

We went to Indy for Easter back in April. Again, I've fallen a bit behind with our blog, but hope to recoup a more current status soon. A new addition to the Hyde family and our pictures is Alexander (Feb '10) below. Belle is excited to have a new buddy.
We've had some pretty warm days so far this Spring, so we had to take advantage of a shady spot in front of our guest house for a small picnic. As do her parents, Isabella loves to be outside and feel the wind blow.
